This release of the OpenCyc KB content, available via a downloadable OWL file, as semantic web endpoints, or via web services, enhances the semantic content freely available to OpenCyc users. Of particular note is the increased (and still increasing) linking of OpenCyc terms to other non-Cyc semantic namespaces appearing in the Linking Open Data cloud.

This release contains:

• ~177,000 terms (up from ~150,000 terms in the previous release)
• ~1,505,000 triples, excluding owl:sameAs links (up from ~1,430,000 in the previous release)
• An average of 9.9 triples per term (up from 9.5 in the previous release)
• Select class (direct and indirect) instance counts:
• 'place': ~19,000
• 'organization': ~25,000
• 'predicate': ~20,000
• 'business related thing': ~11,000
• 'person': ~ 6,600

  includes 695 links to the DBpedia ontology
